TheRealFutboler, Jobst ElsterI am a crazed football fan with compassion for those who question the thrill of a 0:0 draw. A native German, I cover the national team, my beloved 1.FCK and anything of interest to non-purists and connoisseurs alike. Since I started this blog, Atlanta has added a professional soccer franchise to the sporting landscape. Atlanta United FC had it’s inaugural season in 2017 and has not looked back since. So, now there’s even more to write about.

With that said … I have been a football fan for 30+years and cannot wait to share my passion and fanaticism with you. Let the game begin.
